It's official, Summer Hours are BACK!

The 2025 Summer Hours schedule will be in effect beginning May 19 through August 4.

During Summer Hours, University Offices will be Open Monday-Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and closed on Fridays!  Normal business hours resume on Monday, August 4.

 

Open Enrollment for benefit-eligible employees is May 21 - May 31!

Reminder that our next benefit plan year is effective for the benefit plan year from July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026.

There are no changes to benefit providers or plan design. This is a passive enrollment meaning all of your current benefit enrollments will be moved forward to the new benefit year with the exception of FSA, Flex Medical, Flex Limited Purpose, and Flex Dependent Care - you will need to actively enroll in these plans for 2025-2026.

There will be three (3) virtual sessions presented by OWU Human Resources and our broker, McGohan-Brabender,  these sessions will inform eligible employees about the OWU healthcare plan and benefit offerings available beginning July 1!

Three (3) benefit information sessions are offered!  All sessions are virtual and are scheduled from noon -1pm.

To review or change your benefit elections or deduction info.:

-  Log on to    to access  ADP and look at your current benefit elections, to look at your Health Savings Account or your Flex Spending Account contributions.  

-  If you don't want to make any changes, do nothing.  Your elections will remain the same for the next benefit plan year.

  • Log in to ADP to make any changes you need.  Changes must be in ADP no later than May 31, 2025.  Changes will be reflected in the new benefit plan year effective July1, 2025 – June 30, 2026!

ADP Issue - Action Required: 2024 W-2 Local Wage Discrepancy 

If you filed your taxes between January 1 - January 30 using an electronic tax prep platform that imported your earnings directly from ADP, click here for more information, if not, then this information does not apply to you.

The Post-65 Retiree Insurance Plan is the Humana Medicare Advantage Plan.

2024 W2 & 1095-C Access 

In the ADP module, Select Myself> Pay> Pay & Tax Statements (available mid-January 2025)

The ADP module can be accessed through MyOWU single signon, or through ADP directly at https://workforcenow.adp.com/  using your ADP assigned credentials.

ADP OWU Pay and Benefits Portal—Employees can do just about anything related to pay and benefits through If you've never registered, or are a new hire, take advantage of the User Registration Guide. The ADP Portal works best with recent versions of Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, or Safari.

Benefit Information - Benefit infomation can be found under the "Benefit Information" button on the right side of the page.  OWU's benefit year runs on a mid-year cycle beginning July 1 - June 30.  Deductibles for all healthcare plans reset on July 1, including medical, dental, and vision.

Flexible Spending Funds—Participants must use funds for dates of service between July 1 and June 30 annually. Reimbursement requests for FSA funds used for both medical and dependent care during the benefit year must be requested within 90 days of the end of the plan year. 

Flex Spending Medical Participants can carry over up to $660 in Flexible Spending funds if plan participant enrolls in the program the following benefit year.

2025 FSA Contribution Maximum - $3300

Limited Purpose FSA Maxiumum - $3300

2025 FSA Dependent Care Maximum - $5000

Tuition Benefit Programs—Three tuition benefit programs are available to qualified dependents of eligible faculty / staff members: OWU Tuition Benefit, Great Lakes Colleges Association Tuition Remission Exchange, and Tuition Exchange Inc. Click on the "Tuition Benefit" button at the right side of the page for more information.

Prescription Drug Coverage and Medicare—Important information concerning prescription drug coverage and Medicare options is available via this link.

Background Check Information

³Ô¹ÏÍø will conduct a background check for all new hire faculty and staff positions and certain student positions within the University. Background checks will also be conducted on former employees who return to work in specified occupations at ³Ô¹ÏÍø if the duration of the separation exceeds 30 days. ³Ô¹ÏÍø complies with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which regulates the use of information gathered by consumer reporting agencies and which may determine an individual's eligibility for employment.
